A working board, a published conflict of interest policy, and everything that governs us available to read in full.
Our purposes
Our bylaws commit the Foundation permanently to four purposes. They cannot be changed without a supermajority of the board.
Research in the public interest
Conduct biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research and publish the results for the public.
Education and training
Run programs, training, workshops, and fellowships for students, researchers, and the public.
Open tools and standards
Build and maintain open-access tools, software, data repositories, and standards for reproducibility.
Partnerships
Bring academic, clinical, industry, and community organizations together on shared work.
Board of directors
Directors serve without compensation. A majority of the board must be independent, as defined in our conflict of interest policy.
